My goal is to personally visit and collate information from 100 New Zealand World War One memorials throughout New Zealand to commemorate the Centenary of World War One and to remember those who paid the ultimate price.

'War Begins' - A commemorative service marking the 100th anniversary of the declaration of WW1
Yesterday evening I attended the commemorative service held at the Auckland War Memorial Museum. It was a lovely service which had just the right tone. Well done to those who organised the event.
Oh I was there too! It was lovely wasn't it - our Vincent did a fantastic job as usual compiling all the components that were necessary for such an occasion. I was surprised there were not more people there! I took a set of photos also https://www.flickr.com/photos/porkynz/sets/72157646196779305/ 3 short vids here also https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuS44zb_Nx2i1QfAafa7tbw Keep up the good work Helen!
